Nataliia Luhyna is a Lecturer in Advanced Materials & Testing at Wrexham Glyndŵr University and has work on the recent Hub funded Feasibility study "Microwave in line heating to address the challenges of high rate deposition".
Nataliia is BEng(Hons) Dissertation Coordinator on Industrial Engineering programmes and supervised a variety of industrial projects. She is Researcher on the Hub Feasibility Project ‘Microwave in line heating to address the challenges of high rate deposition’.
Nataliia defended her PhD on the cure kinetics of nanocomposite epoxy resin systems (carbon nanotubes/epoxy) during conventional and microwave cure. Her expertise lies in the development of new composite materials and nanocomposites (including carbon nanotubes and carbon) with polymeric matrices, microwave processing of composites, and a wide range of thermal and mechanical characterisation techniques.
