Michael Causon

Michael graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2021 with a degree in Mathematics and continues his academic studies as a PhD student in the Applied Mathematics group. Michael's research is aligned with one of CIMComp's core projects, "Resin injection into reinforcement with uncertain heterogeneous properties", this work aims to build on the uncertainty quantification of preform permeability during the RTM process, using on the fly data assimilation techniques. Specifically, Michael is working with supervisors to improve the speed of such algorithms.
