AMRC University of Sheffield
Matthew Collinson a development engineer working at the AMRC Composite Centre, and is a first year PhD student at the University of Sheffield. His current research project investigates the resistive and piezoresistive properties of carbon fibres and other carbon based nanomaterials such as carbon nanotubes to manufacture smart composites that can detect damage and self-cure. His project is linked to MASTRO, an EU H2020 project, specialising in smart composite materials for the aerospace sector.
