Ian Gent

Dr Ian Gent is a Research Associate in the Bristol Composites Institute (ACCIS) at the University of Bristol. He gained his MChem in chemistry from the University of Surrey in 2011. He then moved to the University of Bristol as part of the ACCIS Centre for Doctoral Training to undertake a PhD on the use of composite materials for adaptive camouflage, completing in 2017. His current research interests concern manufacturing of novel multifunctional braided fibres for improvements in transport phenomena within composite materials.
