Fellowship calls were launched in Feb 2012 & Jan 2013. They were released by CIMComp and made available for national and international researchers to align themselves with one of the core institutions following the CIMComp priority themes and develop novel composites manufacturing research. The Fellowships are intended to offer a first step into an independent research career for young engineers and scientists working on innovative manufacturing processes for composite components and structures. The Fellows have access to facilities and expertise across all four partner Universities. The Fellowship is for a fixed period of up to two years, although the Fellows will be expected to generate additional funding to extend this period and to expand their area of research.

To date, CIMComp has funded two fellowships.
